General Information: Historically, chinchillas lived in an area that included parts of Bolivia, Peru, Argentina, and Chile, but today, colonies in the wild are known only in Chile.
The average lifespan is 15 - 20 years. Adult size is approximately 8" - 12" plus the tail which can be double the length of the body.
Diet: Chinchillas eat a pelleted diet supplemented with hay. We offer herbivore treats which we carry in store!
